The hotel offers 17 en-suite rooms, including Deluxe Double Rooms with Bath that have a roll-top bath, large separate shower, fridge, and microwave. Rooms in the original Victorian house preserve historic character, while courtyard rooms provide ground-level access and allow cars to park directly outside the door. Accessibility features are available for guests with mobility concerns, and every room is stocked with complimentary snacks and drinks.

A free full English breakfast with cooked items, fresh fruit, pastries, and cereals is served daily, and the kitchen accommodates gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and halal diets on request. From April 2025 the hotel opens an extended dining room and new courtyard for afternoon teas, fine dining, and snacks. Breakfast also includes a kid-friendly buffet, making mornings convenient for families.

Free on-site parking is provided for all guests, and a refurbished bar with an outside seating terrace offers a space to relax. The hotel also has a garden and picnic area for use, along with an impressive drawing room. Discounted Chester Zoo tickets can be purchased at reception, and meeting or banquet facilities for up to 100 guests are planned from May 2025.

Hoole village, with its independent shops, award-winning restaurants, and bars, is within walking distance. The property also has easy access to Chester Zoo and is close to the railway station and local bus routes.
